A quick question for you. Do you often forget tasks things that need doing? Does this fogetfulness land you in trouble with your boss or other half? Maybe you have a way to ensure you're not overlooking lifes important tasks. Post-it notes, calendars, email reminders, scribbles on the back of your hand. We've all got our methods to help us stay organised.

How about if you had access to your very own personal planner. You could note down anything you wanted, categorise tasks, mark those tasks based on importance. That would be pretty cool. What if you could assign these tasks to a date and time, so you can be given a gentle reminder when they need your attention. No more racking your brain about a forgotten birthday or work deadline. Simply set a reminder and be alerted closer the time. Nice. What about if you need help with a task, you need to rope in others to help you out on something.

Nozbe To Do helps you keep both your work life and your personal life orgainsed.

More importantly, what if you could do all of the above and more while you're on the move. Keep track of all your tasks and set alerts to help you stay on top of things. Well, if you head across to the App Store you can start getting your life in order by downloading the Nozbe To Do iPhone app.

Nozbe To Do is a GTD (getting things done) productivity app to help you keep your life organised. The app allows you to add and track what needs doing quickly and easily. It's main focus is around projects and tasks and although you can use the app on it's own it does contain powerful collaboration features bringing friends and colleagues together and helping you work more efficiently as a team.

The online version of the software replicates what's available within the mobile app. Seamless syncronisation between the two ensures you choose where you'd like to work from.

Their iPhone app (also available on the iPad) compliments the existing online application, allowing you to use the native app when you're on the move and connect up to the online app when you're at a computer. The mobile app can be used on it's own but if you want to use the online version you must create an account online.

The main account memberships do require a monthly fee (depentant on the number of user accounts you need and other requirements) , but you can sign up to a free account with some restrictions.

  • Set deadlines for tasks
  • Receive push notifications when a task is due
  • Sync with Dropbox
  • Sync with Evernote
  • Add and track comments
  • Assign context icons so you can use quick glances to see what tasks and projects relate to
  • Set up intervals for repeating tasks
  • Quickly sync mobile and internet accounts
  • Add notes to each project or task

The ability to set up contexts is really useful and allows you to keep specific projects separate from each other. I loved the option of setting deadlines with the ability to set repeat intervals. Ofen overlooked in many productivity apps so it's good to see it incorporated in Nozbe.

Nozbe To Do is easy to use and the synchronisation with an online account ensures you can also use your computer to keep tasks updated.

There are hundreds of apps aimed at helping you keep organised. Some keep things simple, with an emphasis on ease of use. Others are more in depth, providing multiple options that try to cover all bases, sometimes sacrificing ease of use for functionality.

Nozbe To Do is feature rich but it's slick, easy to use interface, gives you the best of both worlds. Excellent functionality. Anyone can use it. I'd go as far as saying it Nozbe To Do sets the benchmark for other to-do/task apps to follow.
