FoxTube - YouTube Cache Review

FoxTube - YouTube Cache is for people who want to create music playlists from YouTube. Before getting into the nitty gritty it's worth listing out some of the features included in the app.

What has to stand out about FoxTube the most is the sheer amount of music you have access to. Pretty much any song you have ever heard can be found kicking about somewhere on YouTube. Which means you can create any setlist you want. Pick the videos. Select the order you want them played in. Hit play. Sit back. Enjoy!

If you imagine packing up the whole of YouTube and sticking it in your record box, then dipping into this box and pulling out tracks to create your own custom playlists. Well, that's pretty much what you've got with FoxTube.

The apps loaded with cool features including custom gestures, TV out/ Airplay support (iPad 2 + version), multitasking and much more (see the list above and visit the App Store for more info). I have to mention one of my favorite but often overlooked features. This is the ability to integrate the lock screen while still allowing you to listen to the videos (iOS 5 only) . A simple feature but one I feel is often overlooked by many developers.

The only thing that lets FoxTube down slightly is the interface. Maybe with a little polish it could look and function slightly better but once you get used to creating playlists it's a minor point.
