Accuweather Weather App Review
A recent update to this popular weather app has made improvements to the graphics but not all of the functionality. The previous version, although not as flashy graphically, was much more informative and user friendly with handy features such as being able to scroll between more than one chosen weather location.
With the new version your main weather location is the focus and for other cities you must add and access these through the 'More' tab under settings. The app does however have some handy functions including a daily forecast giving temperature and the handy 'real-feel' temperature also, humidity, visibility, wind speed, sun set and rise etc.
There is also a lengthy 15 day forecast and both day and night weather can be determined by switching between the two. The recent update to version 4.0.0 has a few bugs however and currently the hour-by-hour weather forecast under the 'today' tab does not indicate the hour only the weather expectations which is somewhat frustrating.
Overall however, as this app is free and the weather forecasts are notoriously unpredictable anyway, this app is as successful as most - its just a shame they brought out the last update which seems to have dissolved all their previous hard work. A paid version can also be purchased for £0.59 without adverts etc.
